How this works

Where does this data come from?

Every record is a pending original license or permit application filed with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC), published daily on the Texas Open Data Portal. We group the raw applications by location and translate the license codes into plain English. Each entry links to the official state record.

What does a filing tell me?

A Mixed Beverage permit plus Late Hours plus a Food & Beverage certificate is the fingerprint of a full-service restaurant and bar. A Package Store or Wine-Only Package permit is a new retail liquor or wine store. Filings usually land 60 to 90 days before opening day, which is when the venue is choosing a POS system, distributors, insurance, security and staffing.

How fresh is it?

TABC publishes new applications daily. We check for new College Towns filings every hour and email alerts as they appear. This page shows the last 7 days.

Who uses Liquor Leads?

POS and payments reps, beer, wine and spirits distributors, liquor liability insurance agents, restaurant equipment dealers, staffing, security, signage and cleaning vendors: anyone who wants to be the first call a new bar or restaurant gets.
